We endeavour to provide a comprehensive service for all members of the family with particular accent on health promotion and screening delivered by all members of our health care team. In 1996, Rosehill Surgery was assessed by the RCGP and elevated to the status of a 'Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners'practice. This was achieved by the hard work and dedication of the entire practice team and was one of the first 100 such fellowships ever awarded by the RCGP nationwide.

CARERS
Do you look after someone who is ill, frail, disabled or has a mental illness?

We are interested in identifying carers, especially those people who may be caring without help and support.

We know that carers are often "hidden", looking after a family member or helping a friend or neighbour with day to day tasks, and may not see themselves as a carer.  Caring for someone is an important and valuable role in the community, which is often a 24 hour job that can be very demanding and isolating for the carer.  Carers should receive appropriate support by way of access to accurate information on a range of topics such as entitlement to benefits and respite care and not least, a listening ear when things get too much.

If you are a carer please ask at reception for a carers form which you can complete, to let us know about your caring responsibilities.

Useful contact telephone numbers:-

Carers often worry about what would happen to the person they care for if they were taken ill suddenly. The British Red Cross can issue you with an Emergency card that will provide peace of mind in case this ever happens to you.

It is free of charge to carers. Please telephone 01772 709555 or 07112 707313 for an enrolment form or e-mail

                                       Patient Reference Group

Would you like to have a say about the services provided at Rosehill Surgery?

We are encouraging patients to give their views about how the surgery is doing. To help us to improve our service to you we are setting up a virtual patient representation group so thay you can have your say.

Topics for discussion could be anything from surgery opening times to to the level of care that you have experienced when encountering the surgery.

We would like to involve as many patients as possible but initially it may be limited to about 100 members.Over time there may be a need to engage sub-groups to deal with specific topics that will utilise individual skills of the group.

All registered patients are welcome to join and we would like to encourage all ages, employed and unemployed, retired people and also non-British ethnic groups.

To join the group just contact reception and you will be asked to fill in a form with your details.

We are currently experiencing a few intermittent  problems with the telephone system at the surgery.

Unfortunately, this may be due to The St Peter's Centre telephone system as a whole and not just Rosehill Surgery. The fault has been reported and we are monitoring it's progress.

Please bear with us while we sort this problem out.
